NEWS - 2010 Professional Photography Awards

Here at Direct Shots we are excited to inform that Danielle recieved 1 bronze, 1 silver and 2 Silvers with distinctions (one was 1 point of receiving a gold!) at this years 2010 APPA (Australian Professional Photography Awards) The photos can be seen in the Photography tab in the equine section.

About

In 1998 Danielle made the big plunge to move to Toowoomba Queensland to study photography under several of Australians most recognized photographers and awarded college. After completing her studies (and winning rotary continuing student of the year), she worked her way through labs to managing a studio to owning her own business, Direct Shots Photography in 2001.

She quickly established herself in shooting equestrian/sporting events, portraits and weddings. Danielle made the natural transition to commercial/advertising and flourished in it. In early 2007 Danielle and her family moved to Sydney where she jumped into shooting fashion and editorials.

Danielle now is back to sunny queensland and loving it!
